First DNV-GL approved phased array topdrive shaft scanner

After a year of testing, design and development, Control Union (CU) and its sister company International Test Solutions (ITS) have developed a phased array topdrive shaft scanning tool that has recently been approved by DNV-GL as first of its kind in the world. This approval adds to the general DNV-GL NDT approvals and various Phased Array applications that have been developed over the years.

CUII USA, LLC joins in as approved Container Certification Firm by ABS

NOTÍCIAS - 16-08-2019 CUII USA, LLC has joined the Dutch offices of Control Union Industrial Inspections (CUII) and recently became a proud approved Container Certification Firm by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). Now the USA offices are also approved to perform 2.5 and 5 yearly inspections on behalf of ABS in the USA, on offshore and intermodal IMO tank containers as required by the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) code.
