Wall thickness

With fully qualified ISO or ASNT UTM Level 2 inspectors, Control Union can perform wall thickness inspections on pressure vessels, platforms or drilling rigs, pressure vessels and high and low pressure piping systems.

Specially developed reports allow customers to be in control of the condition of their piping, with inspection reports including detailed technical drawings and specific details such as results from pipe thickness testing.

In accordance with various classification societies such as ABS or DNV-GL, Control Union is also able to carry out wall thickness inspections on a ship’s hull as part of its five-year vessel survey.
