Control Union performs a comprehensive DROPS survey that helps clients reduce the number of loose and dropped objects. These surveys comply fully with guidelines found in the DROPS prevention scheme.
A standard DROPS survey includes derrick inspections and crane inspections, however, Control Union can adjust the survey to fit any other business needs, and also apply it to production or accommodation platforms.
Control Union has specially trained DROPS inspectors who have completed courses at the DROPS institute. This training enables them to inspect, assess and inform about possible hazards, creating a safer work environment.
Control Union is also able to supply rope access trained inspectors, trained according to IRATA level 1, 2 or 3 (or equivalent), to complete the survey in inaccessible areas, and rope access inspectors ensure work at height is performed safely and quickly.
